Dorothy spends her winters in Arizona, returns to Iowa bronzed and tells us about all the time she spent outside in the heat. Dorothy and her daughter Charlotte have played a big part creating and maintaining the beautiful garden we enjoy at Arlington Place for the past two years. Whether it is the buckets of cucumbers she supplies the salad bar or the perfectly weeded flower beds, Dorothy is in her comfort zone in the garden with her sun hat, gardening gloves and little shovel. For Dorothy’s Dare to Dream, we set up a table on the patio overlooking the garden. Dorothy was overjoyed as her friends filled in around the table and oohed and awwed at the view.
